Michael Dunlop, the Isle of Man TT's most successful rider, received his MBE from King Charles at Windsor Castle on Tuesday.
The 36-year-old from Ballymoney was awarded the honour for his outstanding contribution to motorcycling and sport in the King's Birthday Honours earlier this year.
‘I’m deeply honoured. It’s a privilege to have my work and achievements recognised in this way.’
Dunlop, a 33-time winner, follows in the footsteps of his uncle Joey, who was also made an MBE in 1986 and later received an OBE 10 years later.
He collected his MBE alongside other recipients, including Sir David Beckham, who was knighted on the same day.
